DEFENSIVE DRIVING 3 DEMERIT REDUCTION PROGRAM ONLINE COURSE OVERVIEW
This full 6 hour Defensive Driving Program is approved by the Alberta Government for 3 demerit reduction. Participants must obtain at least 80% on the final exam to qualify.Y his program teaches our trademarked SAFER System of Defensive Driving.The program has full audio, video and interactive exercises. If you are looking for a comprehensive defensive driving program that also is approved for demerit reduction – this is it.
In order to receive a reduction in demerits, you will be required to successfully complete this course and then register your information online at the Driver’s Registration website below. A government notice-of-completion form will be mailed to you within 7 business days. Bring your notice-of-completion form to a local registry office in the province of Alberta.
Non-Alberta residents can take this program, but will not be able to receive the 3 demerit reduction, A completion certificate will be issued as an alternative.

ONLINE DEFENSIVE DRIVING 3 DEMERIT REDUCTION PROGRAM DURATION: Minimum 6 hours as per Alberta Government regulations
ONLINE DEFENSIVE DRIVING 3 DEMERIT REDUCTION PROGRAM TEST: Testing conducted in this online Defensive Driving 3 Demerit Reduction Program is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to qualify for a 3 demerit point reduction from an Alberta operator’s licence.
ONLINE DEFENSIVE DRIVING 3 DEMERIT REDUCTION PROGRAM CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION: Alberta residents who achieve the required passing mark will receive an Alberta course completion certificate. This certificate, together with the government notice-of-completion form received in the mail 7 business days after registering at DriversRegistration.ca, can be taken into any registry in Alberta to receive a 3 demerit point reduction.
Non Alberta residents can download and print a course completion certificate online immediately upon successful completion of the program.
